We also have a bare-bones option to camp with us for $500, but provide your own food, water, tent and bedding. For that fee you’ll get access to electricity, showers, shade and our wonderful community!
You can pay in full, or choose the payment plan option of paying in three equal installments, with the last payment being made by August 1st.

FAQ
How can I join?
Yay! Fill out this form!
How many people are in your camp?
We have space for a maximum of 50 souls, but will likely top out at around 35 for 2024.
Can I contribute art to the gallery? How about a performance, talk or DJ set?
YES! Please reach out to us. We are also open to guest contributions.
I see you’re a sound camp. What kind of music do you play?
We’re an eclectic group of DJs with wide-ranging interests. Some favorite genres include house, bass, techno, trap, disco and drum and bass. No dubstep.
What are the camp duties?
We expect everyone to help with the strike. Additionally, everyone will be asked to do two 3-4 hour long shifts at the art gallery, and help prepare a meal or two. We also expect campers to voluntarily pitch in with other duties as needed.
What’s the deal with the yurts?
Our 166-sq ft hexiyurts comfortably sleep three people. They come with a foam mattress, bedding, an outlet and a ceiling light with a fan. They are made of 4x8 foam insulated panels and protect from dust quite well.
Can I have my own yurt?
Due to space constraints, we cannot offer solo yurts. If you would like to have a 2-person yurt rather than the default 3-person yurt, please email us. We can accommodate a 2-person yurt for an additional fee of $400 per person until space runs out.
What about tents?
Our tents come with a foam mattress, bedding, a ceiling light with a fan and an outlet. Tents are for solo occupancy unless you’d like to double up.
Can I bring my own tent?
Yes - see above about the cheaper $500 option to camp with us using your own gear.
How about a car or RV?
We can accommodate a limited number of RVs for a $1000 fee. You can also bring your car, truck or van with no fee attached, but let us know in advance so we can ensure there’s space (and perhaps ask you to bring us a pizza or two!).
Packing is giving me anxiety. What should I bring?!
First and foremost, your beautiful self! For everything else, here are a couple handy packing lists to help guide you:
Can I join you for buildweek?
Oh yes! We have early access passes that allow us to arrive on the playa starting 8/21.
Do you have camp toilets?
Nope. But the public porta potties are located right across the road, 100 yards away. That’s about a 1-minute-and-9-second stroll, or a 25-second sprint if you’ve really gotta go (the 100-yard world record is 9.07 seconds).
What about bikes?
We arrange bike rentals through our camp for a $200 fee. We’re getting 28” wheel beach cruisers. Your two-wheeled chariot will be waiting on the playa so long as you reserve it by July 31.
The bikes do not come with baskets, so please bring your own if you’d like a basket. You should also bring your own basic lock - just something to make your bike less convenient to steal than the other 200 bikes around it.
We also highly recommend purchasing a bike light and some El wire to trick out your bike - essential for avoiding collisions at night, and also for looking fly on the playa. (And don’t forget to pack batteries!)
What specific bedding will be provided?
We’ll have these single-person foldable foam and gel memory mattresses, and these pillows and sheets.
I’m a light sleeper. Should I not join your camp?
You can think of us as a 2 pm to 6 am camp. We will be jamming at night, and given our location at 2&E, there will be additional noise from our neighbor camps. All speakers, however, face out at the playa, and the sleeping areas will be set back from the dancing area. Our resident light sleepers suggest Happy Ear ear plugs and a sound machine.
What if it rains?
We learned a couple things in 2023 - including the importance of double tarping! Our entire camp quarters will be built atop a ginormous plastic tarp, and each yurt or tent will have an additional base tarp that wraps up around its edges like a cute little cupcake liner.
What if it’s super-duper sweltering like in 2022?
Our common area will be under a massive shade structure and cooled during the day with two Swamp Coolers. Our yurts and tents also both come with small fans and will be situated under a large reflective tent to keep them from turning into greenhouses.
What’s the deal with personal electricity use?
Every yurt and tent will have an extension cord for electricity. Campers will need a multi-surge protector and all necessary cables. We’ll also have a communal charging station in the living room.
If I take the burner bus, do I have to schlep all my gear all the way out to 2&E?
Don’t worry, we got you! We will have wagons and plenty of campers to help you out.
The burner bus has luggage space constraints. How can I get all my stuff to the playa?
Yes! If you are based in New York City, you can buy space on the NYC Community Container. The sale opened on June 14 and the load-in will be in early August. This container does sell out, so if you want a space, better not to delay. DEADLINE HAS PASSED FOR 2024
If you are not in NYC, then you can mail or have your items delivered to our shared container in Reno, which we’ll bring directly to camp. Think ebikes, costumes, art projects - and anything else you might not want to carry on a plane. Please email us for details.
Where should I stay in Reno?
We’d suggest the Grand Sierra Resort, the unofficial hotel of Burning Man. It has a great pool and always turns into a BM afterparty.
How do I responsibly dispose of my extra gear that I no longer need after the burn?
Thanks for asking! There’s a new Burner Gear Giveback Program that collects unopened food and hygiene products and gently used supplies for donating to unhoused people and families living in Reno. The program operates from Aug 30-Sept 9 out of the Burner Express drop-off at Reno Airport. They accept: tents (in usable condition, with all parts), sleeping bags, shade cloth, tarps, bike wagons, hygiene items (must be unopened/unused), unopened shelf-stable snacks, first aid supplies and thicker blankets and comforters (no used sheets or towels).
